One and a half years ago, we were introduced to Grace to help my son settling in his childcare class. She not only helps our son’s behavior in his class, she also helps him in his feeding problems. He used to swallow the food straight away without chewing causing him to choke or gag. Because of that his diet mostly consisted of mashed or puree food. After we saw Grace, she introduced oral motor exercise and has been doing the exercise and massaging his face and mouth area patiently in every session to stimulate his jaw muscles. After 2-3 months of lessons, my son started chewing food. He can now eat small pieces of food and can join our family for mealtimes.
Grace is a very patient therapist who is able to engage my son during the therapy sessions. She knows how to catch a child’s attention, how to engage a child in activity and how to distract a child when he/she is cranky. Under Grace’s firm guidance, our son has been improving in a steady pace. He is becoming more and more independent, behaving well in class and is vocalizing a great deal more than ever before. It is wonderful to see our son thrives under Grace’s tender charge. My husband and I are truly grateful for the efforts that Grace has put in for our son and we wish that Grace will continue teaching to our son.

Teacher Zann was my son’s, Hector, preschool teacher during his K1 and K2 days. Hector was a difficult child and was struggling to settle in the new learning environment when he was transferred to a new Preschool centre after we moved to the west part of Singapore.
